Vlasovia 2024: Seventh International Workshop on the Theory and Applications of the Vlasov Equation
January 29th - February 1st, 2024
Department of Physics & Astronomy
University of Florence, Arcetri (Florence), Italy
The Vlasov equation is the model, basic equation for space and laboratory plasmas, and is also used in other many-particle systems that display a collective behaviour. This workshop aims at providing an up-to-date state of the art for scientists working in the field of Vlasov theory and related applications. Cross-disciplinary contributions are welcome.
- Basic colllisionless plasma physics
- Space and astrophysical plasmas
- Magnetic and inertial confinement fusion plasmas
- Computational and mathematical approaches
